![]() ![]() You can! The first step is unlocking the Thrall Taker technology. Did you know, you can actually make them work for you though? When you meet them, you likely kill them back. There is quite a bit of randomness to these kinds of items, so make sure to be diligent when hunting for them as it might take a few extra swings before you get one to drop.Īs you explore, you'll surely find the many hostile NPCs who want nothing more than to kill you. For instance, rocks will occasionally drop iron, while trees can drop Bark, but only if you hit them with something other than an axe. Also, you're far less likely to die to other players, when the other players are constantly dying to random monsters!Īnother easy to gloss over fact, some resources have rare loot drops that are triggered randomly, or when mined by a specific tool. Try to set up new bases in these hostile areas, and you'll be able to reap the rewards as resources are more plentiful. There are several distinct areas, such as the dunes filled with Spiders, or the ruins filled with skeletal corpses.Īs you level up, acquire new gear and more allies, it will be up to you to push further and further inland. From here, the difficulty of enemies will ramp up as you head North-West. This is filled with weak creatures and also the area that new players spawn. The lowest level area is in the South-East. Something that you might not realize for a long time, is that the world of Conan Exiles has a clear difficulty curve that you are meant to progress through. ![]() The Map is Split into Different Difficulty Zones The moral of the story? You’ll find that one or two of the thralls are now back to wearing their original default clothing, but their body/wearable inventory is empty, so there’s nothing to remove. This is pretty straight forward, but can be overlooked easily enough. But it’s a lot easier to reproduce the bug when you just remove all their clothes than to try to figure out what clothing has changed on them.Įxit the game normally, and then restart. ![]() Obviously, you need to set both your server and your client to allow full nudity to reproduce this bug. Remove all clothing and armor from every thrall’s inventory so that the thralls are totally naked. Put them all in a room together in your base to make it easy to observe them before and after. I’ve been capturing them from that city where Conan hangs out in that pub. The easiest way to reproduce this bug to make it obvious is to capture a bunch of thralls, at least ten or so, either fighters or archers, it doesn’t matter whether it is level I, II, or III. I want to get competent in the game before I join any PVP servers, so that I’m not a total n00b, lol. I’ll give a fighter really good armor, better than their default gray tunic or Relic Hunter clothes, and they’ll be back in their original default clothes when I restart the game.īYW, I’m in single player mode on my own machine. I noticed a bug where thralls sometimes, but not always, return to their default armor/clothing after changing their armor. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘server region.’ I’m running on my own machine. ![]()
